About Travis
Travis Tucker is a Colorado-based mountain guide and avalanche educator who helps climbers and mountain travelers pursue meaningful objectives in complex mountain terrain.
With more than two decades in the outdoor industry, he combines alpine guiding experience, avalanche education, and operational leadership to create mountain experiences that emphasize strong decision-making, efficient movement, and lasting skill development.

Travis focuses on clear communication, strong terrain management, and helping clients build the judgment and confidence needed to continue exploring the mountains long after the trip ends.
Guiding & Industry Experience
Travis works as a mountain guide and avalanche instructor with Colorado Mountain School and Aspen Expeditions, guiding alpine climbs, rock routes, and backcountry ski objectives throughout Colorado.
He is also the founder of Moto Mountain School, an avalanche education program serving Colorado’s motorized backcountry community, where he teaches numerous avalanche courses each season.
Earlier in his career he spent many seasons guiding and working in Alaska with expedition and wilderness leadership programs and later served as General Manager of Irwin Guides in Crested Butte, overseeing operations, staff development, and risk management for a team of more than 30 guides.
